Marmoush opened the scoring for the 'Pharaohs', before Egypt's 'King' Salah doubled the lead with a second goal in stoppage time, securing Egypt's first three points in the tournament. Haaland joined Salah and Marmoush in celebrating the win by commenting on the photo, saying: 'Hello brothers'. Morocco is hosting the current edition of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which runs until January 18, 2026. Egypt is in Group B alongside South Africa, Angola, and Zimbabwe.
