Dr. Mohamed Abu Al-Ela, the doctor of the Egyptian national football team, has revealed that the medical examinations undergone by Mohamed Hamdi, the team's defender, showed he suffered from bruises and a blood collection in the pelvic bones. The examinations of Mostafa Mohamed also revealed an ankle sprain. This came after their participation in the match against Zimbabwe, which ended with a 2-1 victory for the Pharaohs in the first round of the African Nations Cup. Abu Al-Ela confirmed that the duo, Mostafa Mohamed and Mohamed Hamdi, are being prepared for the match against South Africa, scheduled for 5 PM Cairo time in the second round.
