The statement confirmed: "The Egyptian Tennis Federation had no role, direct or indirect, in nominating the player or requesting or approving granting her this invitation card, and the Egyptian Tennis Federation was not in any way involved in the player's entry into and participation in this tournament." The statement clarified: "Therefore, we have no additional technical, competitive, or administrative information regarding the player or the circumstances of her participation in the tournament, as her participation and the method of obtaining the invitation do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Egyptian Tennis Federation, as it is an international tournament that is not subject to the rules or regulations of the Egyptian Federation, but rather follows the regulations of the International Tennis Federation, which state that every country organizing an international tournament has the right to grant exceptional invitation cards to any player of any nationality without interference from their national federation, which confirms that the Egyptian Tennis Federation has no role and bears no responsibility for the results of the mentioned player's participation."
