This occurred following her defeat by Lorena Schaidel (24) in a third-tier tournament under the International Tennis Federation in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, on January 6th. A member of the tournament's organizing committee, in an interview with The Telegraph, stated: 'The Egyptian player lied about her experience in the game.' The match lasted 37 minutes, and the Egyptian player lost 6-0, 6-0 to a German player ranked 1139th in the world. This happened after she failed to execute the most basic movements in the game, which raised doubts about how she entered the tournament and received an invitation.
