A source close to the singer revealed in statements that she is currently at home and is suffering from severe depression. She has confined herself to her room and refused to meet anyone in the past period. The source also added that Sherine is suffering from weight gain, which prevented her from appearing in recent weeks, noting that she "received an offer to hold a concert inside Egypt and apologized to the organizers." The source clarified that she has completely suspended her artistic activities and asked her team to cancel all her commitments for the current period until further notice.
