Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny returned to Cairo from the German capital Berlin after a two-week treatment trip. The trip was necessitated by a sudden health crisis that required the partial removal of a kidney. Upon arriving in Egypt, the artist did so in complete secrecy to get enough rest at home without disturbance, especially as he is still suffering from some pain from the surgery. Sources close to Hosni revealed that doctors in Egypt initially reassured him that it was just a "small cyst" on his kidney. However, he was surprised in Germany to find out that this was not the case, but rather a "small tumor" with a diameter of 2 centimeters, which suddenly grew to 3.7 centimeters in a few days, necessitating an urgent surgery for its removal. The removed part is still under analysis, and its results have not been released yet, but the medical team treating him greatly reassured the artist. Tamer Hosni had previously revealed the details of his health crisis that required surgery. He posted on his official Facebook page: "I did not want to talk about my health crisis or my personal matters.. but since the news was circulated, I would like to clarify that I have been suffering from a health crisis in my kidney for a while." He added: "A few days ago, my condition required immediate surgical intervention, and a part of the kidney was removed. Thank you to everyone who tried to check on me, and thank you to everyone who prayed for me and still prays." It is worth noting that artist Tamer Hosni had held two concerts in Paris and Berlin a few days before his hospitalization. Praise be to God in all circumstances.
