
On Tuesday in Cairo, Arab leaders discussed an alternative project for Gaza in response to Donald Trump's proposal to control the U.S. over the Palestinian sector and expel its residents. At the same time, negotiations for a ceasefire remain stalled.
At the emergency summit of the Arab League in Cairo on Tuesday, the Egyptian project to restore the Gaza sector was supported as an alternative proposal by U.S. President Donald Trump.
Important Arab countries such as Egypt, Yemen, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia attended the summit and endorsed the idea of using the proposed humanitarian plan for Gaza, put forward by Egypt, as a way to aid the regional commitment to humanitarian solutions.
"We welcome and support the Egyptian initiative to overcome the Gaza crisis and improve the lives of Palestinians," - is quoted in the summit's statement.
