Within the framework of the fourth exhibition "Eternity - this is now", 12 artists from the Near East and various corners of the world presented their works on the backdrop of the pyramids in Giza. The exhibition began on the 24th and runs until November 16 of the current year. The organizers of the publication, the "Art Egypt" fund, assert that its goal is to "bridge the gap between the past and the present". The presented works, primarily installations, provide a new interpretation of ancient Egypt, associating the pyramid symbol with contemporary artistic vision.
Artist from Lebanon, Jean Bou Gossian, participating in the exhibition with his work "Sandy Waves", stated: "Culture unites peoples. My works are created in Belgium... And I came here to present them here." The work of Italian artist Federico di Carlo titled "I see, I see" is distinguished by a huge eye of Horus/Ra, composed of thousands of optical lenses, presenting a new perspective on the pyramids, creating an overturned overview of the natural landscapes of Giza in each line.
Federico stated: "I feel a great joy to be here and create something before the pyramids because for the world this place inspires a large amount of strength, life, symbolism and wonder." Spanish artist Javier Mascaro explained that "the main idea of this exhibition is the human striving for life after death, the hope for immortality, inspired by ancient Egyptian art."
