The attacking Egyptian club "Zamalek" Ahmed Mustafa "Zizo" issued a statement regarding his contract with the club. "When the club sees that the extraction of benefits from material aspects, related to me, in its interests, I will be ready to cooperate in any possible way". He concluded: "Ultimately, my only goal is to see the club 'Zamalek' and its fans in the best condition and position."

Ahmed Mustafa added: "My primary and ultimate goal is to maintain the stability of the club, and I believe that the club 'Zamalek' and its fans deserve only the best constantly.
"I am fully aware of the difficulties the board of directors is facing due to accumulated financial burdens and larger expenses that the club incurs during the financial crisis," he said. "If the club 'Zamalek' wants me to stay, I will remain until the end of the financial crisis. I believe that the relationship between the club and its players should be built on mutual respect, especially under the circumstances of the difficulties that the club is experiencing in the present time".
"In this context, I believe that speaking on this issue is a sad and extremely unnecessary act, and this should stop. We all understand what the club is going through, and it should not be scorned by any side or attributed blame without clear evidence," he continued. "As for this situation, I have always demonstrated my love and loyalty to the club 'Zamalek' and its fans, and I do not need to justify it.
"If I am the last file to be considered after the players' salary payments, contract extensions, and attracting new players, then I am ready to wait."
