As part of strengthening the tax system in the country, the Ministry of Finance adopted Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 142 of 2024 on the introduction of an additional tax. According to the new resolution, enterprises engaged in certain types of activities will be exempted from tax in the amount of 3% of their annual revenue. This tax will be introduced from January 1 of the following year. This measure is aimed at increasing tax revenues to support the state budget under the conditions of financial pressure due to the current economic situation. In his comments on this matter, the finance minister noted: "The introduction of an additional tax will allow us to gather additional resources, not deterring taxpayers in this regard, and direct them towards financing social programs and developing infrastructure."
