The ministerial council of Egypt approved the decision to implement a new working mechanism that guarantees the provision of customs liquidation.
This step is part of the government's efforts to alleviate the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and stimulate the country’s economy. The new procedure will contribute to more effective management of the trade process and improve the welfare of the business sector.
One of the official representatives emphasized the importance of this decision, noting that it facilitates the growth of exports and improves the competitiveness of the country’s production. He also stated that the new system helps accelerate the process of customs clearance of goods, which negatively affected the external trade operations.
