A family of six, including children, died in a fire in their apartment in Shubra El Kheima, Egypt. The fire, which started in the kitchen, quickly spread throughout the apartment. Dense smoke caused the suffocation of all family members. Authorities responded to a neighbor's report and confirmed that all six residents had perished. Eyewitnesses stated the fire broke out at 7 a.m. and that neighbors heard children crying before attempting to extinguish the flames. The fire spread rapidly, and a metal door on the apartment entrance delayed rescue efforts. Investigations revealed that the fire was caused by a faulty phone charger that led to an electrical short circuit.
