The governor of South Sinai has begun preparations for the International Camel Festival in Sharm El-Sheikh during the first week of February. The governorate stated in an official statement that Major General Dr. Khaled Mubarak, Governor of South Sinai, held a meeting attended by the Chairman of the Camel Club, the Chairman of the Sharm El-Sheikh Hotel Establishments and Tourism Chamber. During the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize the festival with wide Arab participation, including the presence of the Camel Club chairmen from the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and a number of other Arab countries, in addition to the participation of 12 Egyptian governorates representing camel clubs at the state level, in the presence of a number of foreign ambassadors in Egypt. The South Sinai Governorate indicated that coordination has been made to organize the attendance of foreign tourists.
