Famous Egyptian actor Hassan Youssef passed away at the age of 90. This was announced by his wife, actress Shams Al-Baroudi. The actor's brother, Mohamed Youssef, also confirmed this information on Tuesday morning, not providing details regarding the circumstances or memorial events. "Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return. My older brother, actor Hassan Youssef, has passed away. May Allah grant him His mercy," wrote Mohamed Youssef on Facebook.

Hassan Youssef was born on April 14, 1934, and became well-known for his vivid roles, which were the reason why audiences and critics called him the "Eternal Boy." Although at one time he distanced himself from the acting profession, he later returned to the screen. One of his most memorable works was the series "Imam of Prophets," in which he portrayed the biographical image of the famous Imam Mohamed Metwalli Al-Sharavi.
