Etihad Airways has announced the launch of flights to Alamein — a city in the northern part of Egypt, not far from the historic city of Alexandria.
Flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays aboard Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The vice president of the airline's route network stated that adding Alamein to the network opens new opportunities for passengers and confirms the strategic partnership between Egypt and the UAE.
"We are pleased to expand our route network to this unique destination, which boasts a rich historical legacy and potential for tourism. We are confident that our passengers will be delighted by the beauty of this region," the vice president added.
