Cybercriminals managed to hack the official YouTube channel of the Egyptian football club 'Al-Ahli' and gained control over it for more than two hours in order to livestream their own content.
Electronic hackers used this opportunity to interfere with the operations of the club's official channel and meddle with its programming. Cybersecurity specialists expressed concern about the lack of security on the internet and the importance of protecting digital platforms from such hacks.
"We are working with all relevant parties to investigate the incident and take measures to prevent similar situations in the future," said the representative of the 'Al-Ahli' club.
