On Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt condemned the Israeli military operation in the town of جنین in the occupied West Bank of the Jordan River. In a statement, the Egyptian MFA expressed that Cairo "is surprised and deeply dismayed" by this military operation, which led to the deaths of two Palestinians and injuries to others. The representative of the Egyptian MFA also expressed concern over the escalating violent actions in the occupied Palestinian territories. "The MFA calls on the international community to intervene urgently and put an end to this violation of the rights of the Palestinian people," the statement concluded.
