The President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi confirmed yesterday the continuation of Egypt's efforts to support the unity and stability of Somalia, as well as the safety of its territory. This statement was made during a meeting between President al-Sisi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Djibouti Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, who is the official representative of the country’s government, as reported by the press secretary of the Egyptian President, Muhammed ash-Shanavi.

"During the meeting, issues were discussed regarding strengthening cooperation between the two countries in various areas of mutual interest. The importance of exploring broad perspectives for bilateral cooperation aimed at achieving common interests and satisfying the expectations of the peoples of both countries was emphasized," the press secretary's statement cited.
