The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah as-Sisi, discussed on Tuesday with the Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdulbari II the current events at the regional level, especially in the context of implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. During the meeting, the leaders discussed important issues related to the political situation in the Middle East. Additionally, the importance of cooperation in mitigating conflicts in the region was emphasized.
"We believe that strengthening our relations and consultations between the two countries is essential for achieving stability in the region," the President of Egypt emphasized.
The necessity of agreed efforts to ensure peace and security, as well as international support for mitigating conflicts, was recognized as important aspects of collaboration between the two countries.
The Jordanian Foreign Minister also expressed support and readiness for cooperation with Egypt in addressing the current issues of the region, underlining the importance of consolidating efforts to ensure stability and prosperity in the Middle East.
