In a joint statement, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry and Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh expressed concern over the recent incidents at the Gaza border and called for an immediate halt to violence and stabilization of the situation.
"We emphasize the necessity of an immediate cessation of all forms of violence," the statement reads.
According to them, they also underscored the importance of ensuring the safety of all citizens and adherence to international law.
