The President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and King of Jordan Abdullah II confirmed their readiness to cooperate in order to address common problems and challenges. This was stated during a telephone conversation between the two leaders.
During the discussion, the important significance of further strengthening bilateral ties between the countries was emphasized. President Sisi also expressed gratitude to King Abdullah for supporting Egypt in various international forums.
"I would like to emphasize Egypt's profound commitment to supporting Jordan on various issues, and also express readiness for further cooperation on all matters of interest to our countries," noted King Abdullah II.
