During a visit to Paris, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Badr Abdel Atti, participated in a ceremony for the return of several stolen Egyptian artifacts that were successfully returned to the Egyptian embassy in Paris thanks to coordination with the French Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In a statement for the press, the minister expressed gratitude to France for its cooperation regarding the return of artifacts, highly appreciating the efforts of French authorities in returning stolen Egyptian artifacts as part of the historical and cultural heritage. The importance of enhancing efforts in combating the illegal trafficking of Egyptian artifacts was emphasized.

The minister also acknowledged the efforts of Egyptian missions abroad regarding the return of stolen Egyptian artifacts, noting the coordinated work between Egyptian embassies and national institutions, including the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and the Office of the Attorney General, aimed at preserving the country's heritage and wealth.
