Egypt and Cyprus Strengthen Their Diplomatic Relations

The President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and the President of Greece Nikos Christodoulidis held a meeting in Cairo. Discussing the close relations between the two countries, the leaders affirmed their readiness to strengthen cooperation.

Speaking after the meeting, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi noted: "We addressed important issues related to bilateral relations and cooperation on various matters, including the economy and politics. We emphasized the importance of strengthening stability in the region and fighting terrorism."

Nikos Christodoulidis, in turn, expressed gratitude for the hospitality and emphasized the importance of dialogue for solving common problems and creating peace and stability in the region.

The leaders also exchanged views on issues related to international politics and regional security, expressing readiness for joint efforts to achieve peace and prosperity in the Eastern Mediterranean.
