The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah as-Sisi, called on the international community to support the plan to restore the Gaza Strip, which does not propose the relocation of residents.
He stated: "Egypt is ready to participate jointly with the international community in projects for restoring the Gaza Strip, the aim of which is to provide all Palestinians with decent living conditions in their country."
In addition to this, he expressed confidence in the necessity to prevent new military clashes between Israel and the Palestinians. In his speech, he also emphasized that Egypt is ready to provide any necessary assistance to ensure security in the Middle East.
