Journalist Lamis al-Hadidi criticized the fact that she called the popular dramatic genre in Egyptian serials due to the spread of uncensored language. In her official Facebook account, she wrote: "In the participation of serials in this Ramadan season, it contradicts the popular style (randomly): possibly, this is one of the most successful and most viewed, actors are outstanding, depicted excellently and all that, but I have a question: why is all this a complete chaos and mess, and strange expressions, and why do actors speak like this? Rudeness, which has been woven into the conversation, — is this the best dialect of the Egyptian language, why do we turn it into random and erase its roots?" She continued: "There exists a distinction between the art of realism, and also realism, which is directed by the professor of directing Salah Abu Saif, and what we see today. Of course, there are groups of people who speak this way because of the destruction of education and the seizure of economic taxis, which has caused destructive damage to our streets and minds, but why have we fixed the worst? What do we teach the generations that watch these serials? And what do these artists love? To speak in the same way? The most artificial actor is the one that is criticized, and the best actress is the one who captures the essence and 'prides herself' on her 'tanzil'!"
