The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, stated on Tuesday that there is no permanent position of the country on the Palestinian issue, except through achieving justice and resolving the question of the two states. In addition, he emphasized that Egypt will continue to exert efforts for achieving lasting peace in the region. "We have always said that in order to achieve a peaceful solution in Palestine, it is necessary to recognize the Palestinian right to establish an independent state on the historical borders of 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital," the president noted. Furthermore, the leader of Egypt underscored the importance of coordinating efforts at the international level to restore the inter-Palestinian dialogue with the aim of ensuring a unified Palestinian position in negotiations with Israel.
