Egypt's President Reaffirms Support for Palestinians

The President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi confirmed yesterday, on Tuesday, his decisive rejection of any plans for the forced migration of the Palestinian people.

Al-Sisi emphasized that Egypt firmly opposes any attempts to forcibly relocate Palestinians for mass migration, insisting that the only viable solution to the Palestinian issue is achieving justice and establishing an independent Palestinian state. This statement was made during his speech at the 41st conference of the Chiefs of Staff of Armed Forces under the title "Genuine People" in honor of the day of martyrs and veteran fighters in the presence of senior state officials, as well as commanders of the Armed Forces and police and the families of the deceased.

"Egypt does not allow the establishment of a new reality at the expense of Palestinian rights and does not permit any form of forced migration," added al-Sisi. The president also emphasized that the awareness and unity of Egyptians around national issues reinforce this position and make Egypt a key participant in efforts to ensure security and stability in the region.

Al-Sisi insisted that the struggle of the Palestinians should not be reduced only to the fight for land; it is a struggle for existence and identity, and he asserted that Egypt will continue to support them, continuing to strengthen their legal rights.
