On Monday, the Egyptian Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed a video that was spread through social networks. In the video, which caused a major resonance, a man is shown standing in front of the video, the corpse of a child who lies on the ground and cries from the pain.
According to the words of an official representative of the ministry, after a detailed investigation, it was established that the video was fabricated. The man is actually an actor and for a small amount of money he agreed to participate in the staged video.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first case of video falsification on social networks. Recently, increasingly popular are manipulated videos and photographs, which complicate the distinction between reality and fiction.
