Egypt renews its appreciation for President Trump's commitment to ending the war in Gaza and establishing security, peace, and stability in the Middle East. Egypt announced its agreement to accept the invitation to join the Council and to work on completing the necessary legal and constitutional procedures. Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement on Wednesday that Egypt welcomes the invitation from US President Donald Trump to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to join the Peace Council. Egypt confirms its continued efforts in coordination with the United States and expresses its support for the mission of the Peace Council within the framework of the second phase of the comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza, in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2803.
