The Egyptian Supreme Council for Media Regulation announced this decision on Thursday via its official Facebook account, stating that the action was based on findings from the Council's General Monitoring Department, recommendations from the Committee for Regulating Sports Media Performance, and a hearing with Ahmed Hassan Mido, during which he provided his responses on the matter.
