Haifa Wehbi Sues Egyptian Doctor

Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbi has filed a lawsuit in an economic court against an Egyptian plastic surgeon. She accuses him of using her personal videos to promote his clinic on social media without her prior consent. According to the details of the lawsuit, Wehbi visited a medical center in April 2023 for a consultation only. During the visit, two promotional videos for the center were filmed, which were to be used only once. However, the singer claims she was surprised when the videos were reposted on social media multiple times. Despite her repeated demands for their removal, her requests were ignored, which she considers an illegal exploitation of her name and image. In her lawsuit, Haifa Wehbi is seeking civil damages of 5 million Egyptian pounds for the moral and material harm she suffered, stating that the incident is a violation of her personal rights and an illegal commercial exploitation.
