According to media reports, the plan's details were discussed during a tripartite meeting involving a delegation from the 'Hamas' movement, led by Khalil al-Hayya, head of Egyptian intelligence Hassan Rashad, and international envoy Nikolay Mladenov. 'Hamas' expressed preliminary readiness to cooperate with a civilian committee to administer the Gaza Strip. Media reports revealed that around 12,000 Palestinian police officers are being recruited for a new security force dedicated to the Gaza Strip, receiving intensive training in Jordan and Egypt. Meanwhile, an Israeli military official stated that the United States is supporting the reconstruction of Rafah before the 'Hamas' movement disarms. At the same time, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty held talks with the American envoy Steve Witkoff about developments in the Gaza situation.
