The Ministry of Interior reported that after detecting the video, security forces managed to identify the victim, a student residing in the police department's Faisal area in Suez Governorate. The child's father stated that on November 18, his son, on his way to school, was attacked by two men in a car. A woman intervened, called for help, and the criminals fled, abandoning their vehicle. Police identified the perpetrators, who had prior criminal records. A sawed-off shotgun and a bladed weapon were found in their possession. The suspects confessed to committing the crime with the aim of extorting ransom money. They also admitted to stealing the car used for the kidnapping and changing its appearance, but the car broke down immediately after the crime.
