Egypt's Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced the addition of four new wells to the country's gas production map, with a total production estimated at about 120 million cubic feet of gas per day. The Ministry explained that the new wells, located in the West Burullus field in the Mediterranean in partnership with Cairion, as well as in the Khalda field in the Western Desert in partnership with Apache, will significantly contribute to a large increase in Egypt's total gas production. The Ministry noted that the results of testing the fourth well showed a production rate estimated at approximately 50 million cubic feet of gas per day, which will raise the total production of the field to over 100 million cubic feet of gas per day.
