In Egypt, the 'Karmoz massacre' case takes a new turn. The authorities in Alexandria have transferred the accused, Ryan W.M., to a psychiatric hospital in Abbassia, Cairo, for evaluation. This development comes after the 21-year-old was charged with the murder of his mother and five siblings in the Karmoz district of Alexandria. According to official reports, after committing the crime, Ryan attempted to end his life by jumping from a rooftop. He was rescued by local residents who immediately alerted the police. During the investigation, three razors and a pillow were seized from the scene and will be used as evidence. The Alexandria court has extended Ryan's detention for another 15 days pending further inquiries. Meanwhile, the suspect's lawyer, Ahmed Hamd, revealed that Ryan's father died of grief in Jordan, where he was working, and had divorced his wife before moving abroad. The investigation is ongoing to determine the full circumstances of the tragedy.
