How to identify the causes and avoid headaches during the post-fasting period? One of the most common causes of headaches during the post-fasting period is caffeine deficiency. If you regularly consume coffee or tea, a sudden cessation of caffeine intake during the post-fasting period can cause a headache due to its absence in the body. Try to gradually reduce your caffeine intake leading up to Ramadan to avoid headaches caused by caffeine withdrawal. Maintain your water balance and avoid dehydration by drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water between iftar and suhoor.
